The facility, a JV between ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM, will produce up to 600 tonnes/day of carbon-free hydrogen as green ammonia, reducing global CO₂ emissions by 5 million tonnes annually. Powered by 4 GW of solar and wind energy (completion by mid-2026), the plant aims for first product availability in 2027 and secured $8.4B in financing.
