Red Sea Global (RSG) has introduced Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to the Kingdom for the first time, with SAF blended at 35% to reduce aircraft carbon emissions by up to 35%. RSI now offers SAF refueling for airlines, and RSG’s Fly Red Sea fleet will exclusively use sustainable fuels. RSG’s sustainability efforts include deploying 400MWp solar panels to cut 600,000 tCO2eq annually and increasing mangrove density by 50 million by 2030. The Red Sea welcomed its first guests in 2023, with five hotels open and full completion by 2030, including 50 resorts and 1,000+ residential properties.
