ADNOC Gas, in partnership with Baker Hughes, has deployed Levidian’s LOOP technology at the Habshan Gas Processing Plant, marking its first-ever use at an operational gas site. The technology captures carbon from methane, converting it into graphene and clean hydrogen, supporting decarbonization and industrial growth. The LOOP unit produces 1 tpa of graphene and hydrogen, with future expansions targeting 15 tpa. The graphene will be evaluated for applications in EV batteries, solar panels, and durable materials, aligning with UAE’s sustainability goals.
