The project, fast-tracked to meet summer demand, includes two F-class gas turbines and is scheduled for completion by January 2027. It aligns with Qatar’s 2030 Economic Vision and China’s Belt and Road Initiative, enhancing SEPCO3’s Middle East presence. A Power Purchase Agreement was signed in March 2025 between KAHRAMAA and QEWC.
